PRODU Awards announces the finalists in 56 categories

Among the nominated productions are “Luis Miguel, la series 2”, “¿Quién mató a Sara?”, “La reina del flow 2”, “El reino”, “Súbete a mi moto”, “La cocinera de Castamar”, “La suerte de Loli” and “Pasapalabra”  with the conduction of the Latin American supermodel Valeria Mazza and journalist Boris Izaguirre.

Within the framework of this fifth edition, the media with the most finalists are: Netflix, NBC / Telemundo, Caracol, Disney, A + E Networks, WarnerMedia, Atresmedia and ViacomCBS. The countries with the highest number of finalists are Mexico, with 80; Argentina, with 60; USA, with 37; Colombia, with 35, and Spain, with 24.

The PRODU Awards, which recognize excellence in the production of audiovisual content in Ibero-America, announce their finalists in 56 categories – almost double the number from the previous year – within the framework of its fifth edition.

“The volume of series production has grown and expanding the number of categories is a way of adapting to that growth. Year after year, the support of the industry increases and this is reflected in registrations, juries, and sponsorships, and we are very happy to be the spokespersons and promoters of Spanish content in the world. We hope that each time these awards have more scope and continue as an industry benchmark for the industry”, commented Roko Izarra, director of PRODU.

Among the most nominated productions are: “Luis Miguel, la serie 2” (Netflix/Gato Grande) and “¿Quién mató a Sara?” (Netflix/Perro Azul) “La reina del flow 2” (Caracol Televisión/Caracol Televisión, Sony Pictures Television, Teleset) “El reino” (Netflix/K&S Films), “Súbete a mi moto” (Amazon Prime LatAm/WapaTV/Somos Productions/Endemol Shine Boomdog/Piñolywood Studios), “La cocinera de Castamar” (ATRESplayer Premium/Antena 3/Netflix) “La suerte de Loli” (Telemundo/Telemundo Global Studios) and “Pasapalabra” (Telefe/WarnerMedia).

The delivery will take place through two events, where creators, producers, talent, technicians, and marketing will meet, the awards will be on November 18 within the framework of MIP Cancun, organized by Reed Midem and the gala will be virtual in co-production with TOAC, producers of Miami Fashion Week with Antonio Banderas: with a duration of 50 hours of live streaming on December 1 and 2, with the conduction of the Latin American supermodel Valeria Mazza and journalist Boris Izaguirre.
