Globo starts 2021 with new releases in children’s programming at the international market.  Taking advantage of the opportunity of its participation in the Kidscreen Virtual Summit 2021, the company is launching the second season of the children’s series ‘Game Crashers’ and ‘Gigablaster’, which are a great success among children from different parts of the world.  The products carry the Gloob brand seal, Globo’s Pay-TV channel which is an audience leader in Brazil and is focused on offering content for children between 4 and 9 years old.

The series integrates programs from a brand that has already taken its products to more than 100 countries and has won several important awards, such as Emmy Kids, Content Innovation, Banff Awarads, and Prix Jeunesse. Stories with themes that dialogue with children around the world, because of their funny narratives, music, adventure, magic, and friendship and that, now under a single Globo portfolio, have gained even more outreach in the international market.

With artistic direction by Fabrício Bittar, ‘Game Crashers’ tells the funny story of Neo, Glinda, and Tyron, who are video game characters. Mig and Carol are brothers with opposite personalities. Everything flows smoothly until an extraordinary event happens and changes everyone’s lives. The characters escape from the screen and, tired of fighting villains and saving the universe hundreds of times a day, now make real friends and are looking for something bigger and even more fascinating: to live the great adventure of real life. Their story has enchanted so many children that it was considered the most-watched kids’ program in 2020.

In the animated series ‘Gigablaster’, Giga is a blue rhino who has a strange mission: to sing with the headless Japanese, the long-lost legend of Cool Daddy’s, the coolest karaoke bar in the town of Corner Pocket. But his mission will not be “a walk in the park”. Together with his sassy older sister Ruby and his noisy younger brother – technology geek Ziggy – he must face the insane training challenges proposed by Cool Daddy as he goes on crazy and fun adventures with the strange characters that he comes across through the club.
