HBO’s Barry comedy series premiered season two

The original series of 8 episodes this season follows the adventures of a hit man struggling to leave that life to pursue his dream of becoming an actor. Its premiere was on March 31.

Starring comedian Bill Hader (Saturday Night Live), the cast of this new season is formed by Emmy® winner Henry Winkler (Arrested Development) as Gene Cousineau; Stephen Root (Get Out) as Monroe Fuches; Sarah Goldberg (Hindsight) as Sally; and Anthony Carrigan (Gotham) as Noho Hank.

The comedy received three Emmy® awards for its first season in the following categories: Best Leading Actor in a Comedy Series (Bill Hader); Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series (Henry Winkler); and Best sound mix for a comedy or drama series (half an hour) and animation.

Created by Alec Berg (Silicon Valley) and Bill Hader, who are also the executive producers; its executive co-producer is Aida Rodgers; the consulting producer is Liz Sarnoff; the supervising production company is Emily Heller; the producers are Julie Camino, Jason Kim; the co-producers are Amy Solomon, Duffy Boudreau.
