El Trece, Argentine channel, Pol-ka and Cablevisión Flow signed an important agreement with Oficina Burman/MEDIAPRO- leading group in the European audiovisual sector – for the realization of an original series with a view to premiere during 2019.

The project -whose screenplay is by Humberto Ortega (El BarcoEl Chiringuito de PepeLos Serrano) – has as its axis the political campaign of a man who aspires to the presidency of his country. During this process -dominated by the imposture and the pressures of their own and external- the candidate will be the protagonist of a profound transformation that will leave naked his “true self”; an individual struggle of “wanting to be” versus “duty to be”. In this structured and oppressive atmosphere, the character will find a way to de-dramatize what his surroundings will consider an impossible problematic to settle.

“We celebrate this agreement that reinforces our global strategy. The creation of premium content with the best Spanish-speaking talent. With partners such as El Trece, Pol-ka and Cablevisión Flow, we believe that we can tell great stories for a global market from a local point of view” said Javier Mendez Zori, Head of Content of the Mediapro group.

For his part, Antonio Álvarez, Programming Director of Telecom explained: “This alliance and the content to be develop are very important for Cablevisión, since within the framework of the co-productions strategy that we have been developing with Flow, it means adding more and better content for our customers. We hope that this is the beginning of many new projects together and we do not doubt the excellent results that this agreement with top-level partners such as Pol-ka, El Trece and Oficina Burman/Mediapro can generate.”
