The moves on Telemundo continue: Ignacio Barrera, Ronald Day and Amanda Calpin

The US Hispanic market is moving and Telemundo Networks seems to be winning the race against UNIVISION.

Ronald Day was named EVP of programming and Amanda Calpin is now the Chief Financial Officer of Telemundo Networks. While Ignacio Barrera is SVP of sales and business development of Telemundo Global Studios.

Ronald Day is based in Miami and reports directly to Luis Silberwasser, president of Telemundo Networks. He was responsible for overseeing the programming, planning and execution strategy, as well as formats, acquisitions and the daily production of Telemundo’s programs.

Amanda Calpin held the role of Chief Financial Officer at Telemundo Station Group and will now pass to Telemundo Networks to report to Beau Ferrari, Executive VP of NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises.

Ignacio Barrera took over the Telemundo Studios brands, productions, co-productions and outsourced productions. Also based in Miami, he will respond to Marcos Santana, President of Telemundo Global Studios.
