With this agreement the pay-TV platform becomes the exclusive distributor of all Disney channels in France, with the exception of Disney Channel.
The arrangement, which comes into effect on January 1, 2016, will make the Disney Junior, Disney XD, Disney Cinema channels, along with repeat services, on-demand TV and a second window offering Disney English, to be exclusive of Canalsat.
The only channel that was left out of this exclusivity arrangement was Disney Channel, which remains in the basic offer of French TV operators. So the co-difusion agreement that existed between Canalsat and Numericable-SFR, has been fully finalized according to the information provided by Advanced Television.
