Strategies of Latino producers. La casa del mar by DirecTV

LA CASA DEL MARLa casa del mar recently released by the satellite television operator pay DirecTV is part of a strategy of some producers in several countries in Latin America. In the case of this series the Argentine production company: Swan Film won the contest Fictions Series Federal National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) and the Ministry of Planning of Argentina. Once it got the prize, associated with the local producer Storylab to seek greater projection of the series and found the perfect partner in Directv for pan-regional distribution.

Another series that has its basis in such strategies is Sitiados, which was also recently released Fox 1. After the allocation of funds granted by the National Commission of Television (CNTV) of Chile to the producer Promocine TVN, these were associated with Fox Latin America Group and expanded distribution to levels which hardly has been achieved at the local level.

In Brazil, the government determined by means of a law that international networks that broadcast on its pay-TV system,  should produce in the country some of its material. HBO is leveraging this situation with several of its excellent global proposals with Brazilian Labor.

En Brasil, el gobierno determina mediante una ley que las cadenas internacionales que se emiten en su sistema de TV de pago, deben producir en el país parte de su material. Situación que HBO viene aprovechando con varias de sus excelentes propuestas globales con mano de obra brasileña.
