Doctor Who fans will have their characters in LEGO

BBC Worldwide and The LEGO Group announced for this year the production of a set of LEGO about Doctor Who, the legendary science fiction series that began airing on BBC Television in 1963 starring Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman, that  knew how to captivate fans worldwide.

The creation of the original toy, born from a concept that was suggested on the website of LEGO Ideas, through which the public can participate presenting issues for new sets. Thus, Andrew Clark proposed to design Doctor Who and received the 10,000 votes needed for The LEGO Group to consider its realization.

The project contemplated the creation of characters who have been part of the history of the series as Doctors, companions and monsters, but will have to wait to see the final design until it goes on sale before the end of the year.

“So Much Doctor Who and LEGO enjoy a particularly close relationship with their fans. We are looking forward to know how will be the set that will produce LEGO” said Marcus Arthur, President of BBC Worldwide for the UK.

 

Undoubtedly the Doctor Who fans will wait anxiously until they get to know the set that is anticipated amazing.
