As part of the ceremony of the IV Corresponsables Awards presented on November 28 in Madrid – Spain, Somos los Queremos, the social responsibility campaign of Venevision was recognized as one of the best initiatives in the Large Company category, competing with other 400 initiatives from 18 different countries.
Created three years ago, with the aim of promoting social responsibility from the citizens own performance through simple but powerful messages. For this, a micro-format television of a minute and a half that would tell histories distributed throughout the entire program, especially in prime time was chosen. So far they have worked more than 90 artists known Venezuelan citizens who relate cases in which the values of coexistence and self-improvement are reinforced.

Meanwhile, Maria Ignacia Arcaya, director of corporate social responsibility by Cisneros, who traveled to Madrid to receive the recognition, said: “We are very proud to take three years to this project because it promotes being a good citizen and share inspiring stories of people who have overcome great obstacles,” the executive concluded.
