With the implementation of the new website in Spanish, the channel seeks to promote the wellbeing and health of Hispanic-speaking families in the United States and increase their already coveted audience.
The digital health site in Spanish www.VidaySalud.com attracts more than 8 million visitors, but has now been redesigned to integrate a greater amont of video content, with more than 1,000 videos and 5,000 articles on wellness, health and medical issues.
“Last year, HITN took control of the site www.VidaySalud.com, and we began an arduous redesign work for a more intuitive navigation, adding new functionalities and services and increasing the video offer,” said Maximiliano Vaccaro, Director of Digital Services.
“Today the largest internet traffic comes from mobile devices, therefore, to guarantee success we had to offer the best experience on the smaller screens.”
The new site facilitates the search and visualization from mobile devices and offers new sections and images in larger formats with live surveys, a directory of health services in the United States and Latin America.
The Editorial Director of the site is the renowned Aliza A. Lifshitz (Dr. Aliza), health expert and hostess of the Vida y Salud television block, advisor and expert for HealthDay en Español, news service for more than a dozen websites, including several sites of the North American government.

The channel promises more than 1,000 original videos on health issues, and new features such as support service and live chat rooms, among others. It will also include a new section to promote prenatal and newborn care with useful information for Hispanic families.
