This nascent association of enterprising women eager to grow and promote the work of women in the audiovisual content industry held its second gala at the Eden Rock Hotel in Miami Beach, after the closure of NATPE 2019 and in which TVMAS was present.
WAWA’S Celebration Gala 2019
Founded in 2016 by Liliam Hernández as President along with Gema López and Cecilia Gómez de la Torre, aim to promote the equal and balanced presence of women in the audiovisual media sector and to promote the growth and development of women who have contributed and continue day by day contributing to a highly competitive and constantly changing industry.
The celebration of the second gala took place in an atmosphere of enthusiasm with the words of special guest Cynthia Hudson, senior vice president and General Manager of CNN in Spanish.

The award-winning woman was the renowned Analida López, in recognition of her great work and contributions to the industry.
