Amar a muerte premiered in Honduras and the Dominican Republic

After its premiere in Mexico and the US (by Las Estrellas and Univision, respectively), it has also been sold in Spain, Kenya, Ghana, Israel and Colombia.

Starring Angelique Boyer and Michel Brown, initiated transmissions in Honduras, on Channel 5, and in the Dominican Republic, on Telemicro. It is a production of W Studios and Lemon Films, W Studios is owned by renowned Colombian producer and businessman Patricio Wills. This production has been commissioned by Televisa.

Written by Leonardo Padrón, it narrates a story of love, crime and vengeance, which discovers the mysteries of life, after death.

According to the actors, the story presents a hybrid between telenovelas and dramatic series, without falling into the popular theme of drug trafficking, or unreal melodrama, with characters without depth.

Since its premiere on Las Estrellas in Mexico, it has consistently maintained itself as the audience leader in primetime of open TV in Mexico, according to the press release received in our newsroom from Televisa.

When the series debuted on Univision, according to preliminary audience measurements, it defeated Telemundo’s “Señora Acero” in all demographic groups.

It also features the performances of Alexis Ayala, Alejandro Nones, Arturo Barba, Claudia Martín, Gonzalo Peña, Macarena Achaga, Cinthia Vázquez, Henry Zakka, Néstor Rodulfo, Jessica Mas and Bárbara López, among others.
