CONMEBOL is the sporting competition with the most televiewers in Latin America, with the participation of 47 teams from the ten member countries.
The Group has been selected by the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL) for the creation of the HUB from which the integration, production and distribution of the international signal of its three main competitions will be carried out: The CONMEBOL Libertadores, The CONMEBOL Sudamericana and The CONMEBOL Recopa.
This audiovisual center will receive the images of the 263 meetings of these three competitions, disputed in the 10 countries (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela). The proposal presented by MEDIAPRO ARGENTINA has been considered the best from the technical and economic point of view, informs the communiqué.
The company will put into operation in Buenos Aires an exclusive Production Hub for this project. The center, equipped with the most advanced technology, will integrate, produce and distribute the signals received from the different stadiums. To the signal will be added graphics and comments in 3 languages (Spanish, Portuguese and English) and will generate all the complementary content: highlights, social networks, promotional videos…
CONMEBOL has valued the MEDIAPRO Group’s experience in the production of major sports competitions around the world, such as its experience in 13 national leagues (competitions in Spain, France, Portugal, Italy, Turkey, Colombia, Bolivia, Kenya or Angola …) its participation in the production of the last editions of the World Cup and the UEFA Europa League is added. In its trajectory also highlights an extensive list of sports championships such as FIFA Confederations Cup, FIBA World Championship, Euroleague Final Four, the Women’s World Championship, The Arab Games, Africa Cup of Nations, Formula 1, and World Surf. Recently, the Group has been chosen Host Broadcaster of the XVIII edition of the Pan American Games and of the VI edition of the 2019 Parapan American Games Lima 2019.
