Premiere of Public Morals series by TNT in Latin America

On August 29th TNT broacasted exclusively for Latin America – and within a week of its release in the United States – Public Morals, the ten-episode series made its premiere with a double episode and can be seen every Saturday at 21:00 hrs., with repeats every Thursday at midnight.

Set in 1967 in New York City. At that time were baned sports betting, gambling, prostitution, pornography, acts of depravity, sex as fun, gay bars and clubs at dawn. To respect citizens’ values and morals police existed in the Public Morals Division, created to control the actions of people, stop all vices and establish an order in social life that is peaceful and harmonious. In this unit, the police must face all kinds of temptations where vices can get the best of them.

It is produced by and starring Edward Burns, who has a personal view about this work: his father worked in the NYPD during the last years of the 60’s. The series is the latest collaboration between TNT and Amblin Television, and the Executive producers are Steven Spielberg, Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank, the team behind the hit series Falling Skies.
