More than 230 exhibitors and the presence of recognized entertainment figures are expected, Miami prepares to receive NATPE from January 20. NATPE 2015 and its conferences will focus on the outlook for an industry in continuous evolution, the President and CEO of NATPE Rod Perth said. “We believe this is a moment that must be exposed to all possibilities in the business, as well as any possible threat”, noted.

The theme of the event: “Content without Borders” provides that “We believe that the greatest opportunities are really beyond our comfort zone and it is necessary to reach them, and for that fresh thinking is required”, he said, in explaining the importance of the issue. “We are committed to gather and to make grow everyone in the business of content”.

Perth also announced the presence in Miami of a number of notable participants, such as Eva Longoria, Russell Simmons and stars of the likes of Tyler Oakley, Gary Vaynerchuk, Marcus Johns and Connor Franta.

The event will be held at the Fontainebleau Resort in Miami Beach from January 20th to the 22nd and where TVMAS has a bin to be a Media Partner of the event and will be covering all the activities.

The president also said that they are heading to break records in their registration numbers of attendees, buyers and exhibitors. According to Perth, each of the major studios will be present and have already confirmed over 230 exhibitors so far, including 28 new entrants. He also noted to be represented 22 station groups, that according to him “They are not coming here just to look at new syndicated shows, but come to seek new opportunities”.

The Conference will count this year with fresh elements. On Tuesday will focus solely on programming with panelists as Shark Tank, executive producer Clay Newbill and CEO and founder of FUBU Daymond John. Another novelty of this year will be the Reality Breakthrough Awards, honoring the programs that stood out last year.

“NATPE has been and will always be about content. We are not a niche market, and the Conference this year is a true testament to the unique and diverse opportunities that we serve, spanning the entire value chain of content across platforms and covering all sectors of the business,” Perth said.

“We are committed to serve as the facilitator that connects all in the business of content together in a relevant and vital market that offers access to leadership opportunities and unprecedented to share ideas, close deals, and cultivate new relationships,” concluded.
