This original movie channel in Spanish owned and distributed by SOMOSTV just made the exclusive license to present the film 15 Años y 1 día, directed by Gracia Querejeta. The movie will represent Spain in the nominations for Best Foreign Film at the Oscars, beating Caníbal by Manuel Martin Cuenca, La Gran Familia Española by Daniel Sánchez Arévalo and Alacrán by Santiago Zannou.

Starring Maribel Verdú as Margo, a single mother of a teenage boy (Jon) with rebellion and conflict issues. After pushing it to its limits, Margo decides to send Jon to his grandfather’s home, an ex political activist. The film follows the conflict between the two opposing characters Jon, who is trying to find hiw own way and fit in with the wrong crowd and his strict grandfather who has lived in solitude for some time. The only common ground between the two is the emotional paralysis.
