Endemol, the independent production company announced as multiplatform Entertainment brand relations director Ingrid Akkerman, former senior manager, distribution formats of the company’s strategy of global expansion in brand relationships. She will work closely with commercial teams worldwide Endemol companies developing local brand internationally and managing multiterritorial agreements while sharing ideas, innovation and best practices in the global network of the company.

Her responsibilities include sponsorship, product placement and brand integration in TV, mobile, social media and online content.

Since 2002, has placed a central role in distributing formats in major markets and also ensuring brand and sponsorship partnerships for local productions.

Akkerman will report to the executive director of business affairs of Endemol Branco Scherer who said: “The appointment of Ingrid is a reflection of the growing importance of brand relationships in our business as a global creative content for all platforms. She has an outstanding record in managing global entertainment brands and I am very happy that she has accepted this position.”

Akkerman’s appointment follows the trade business reorganization beginning in 2013, to align the creative and commercial activities of the company.
